Using Writer's Café to think bigger and grow your project

When you have been doing writing practice for some time, the big ideas will be looming in your mind, like mountains in the distance: a cracking scenario for a mystery novel perhaps, or a wonderful idea for a romantic movie. Perhaps you feel that something you have written could be developed into a short story. Where do you go now? Well, Writer's Café has the tools to help you.

Scrapbook

If you have got your big idea, you might have started to gather research for it. The scrapbook is the place for all these bits and pieces: web addresses, pictures, research notes.

Want to do some brainstorming? The collage scrap is the place to do it - pictures, words, and ideas can all be easily manipulated and recorded.

Pinboard

This is the place for free-form yet focused thinking. The place to sow the seeds of a story and see what happenes. And where do you put those little fragments of story that you have developed but aren't sure where they go in the overall scheme? Where can you put that inspiring, exciting image that you don't want to keep sight of? Answer: put them here and keep them safe, and see them clearly in the context of your other ideas. You never know what fresh ideas this process will spark!

With Writer's Café, brainstorming and idea gathering is easy. Our specially designed tools let you tackle the novel or screenplay that you always wanted to write.
