DialogBlocks Translations
If you would like to contribute to a translation of DialogBlocks,
please download the latest .po file in the Download page, translate the strings, and
then compile a .mo file, for example using poEdit. The .mo file should be called dialogblocks.mo
and should be placed in a suitably-named directory in the DialogBlocks
installation (next to the executable). For example, a French
translation would go in the fr_FR directory. You should also copy
the file wxstd.mo from a directory under locale in the wxWidgets 2.8.10
distribution.
Then when you restart DialogBlocks, that language should be
available in the General Settings dialog; change to this language,
and restart DialogBlocks once more.
If you email me your translation,
I can bundle it with the next version of DialogBlocks.

Limitations
Currently DialogBlocks will not be able to translate property names.
Resources and help files
If the resource zip archive dialogblocks.bin exists in the translation directory, it will be used,
otherwise the default dialogblocks.bin will be used. dialogblocks.bin contains HTML and other
files, some of which are amenable to translation.
Similarly, dialogblocks.chm or dialogblocks.htb in the translations directory
will be used, otherwise the English manual will be used. Note that corresponding topic names
must also be translated (in the catalog file) for dialog help to work. (But you can still
translate the topic names even if the translated manual does not exist, and DialogBlocks
will use the untranslated topics to invoke the English manual.)
If you wish to translate the manual, I
can supply free registration for HelpBlocks to do this and can send the DialogBlocks
manual sources on request.
